Is it easy to get a taxi at LAX airport? ›

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) taxis are available 24/7 at every terminal and can be easily found at the airport taxi ranks, outside of the arrivals exit doors.

Free shuttle transportation is provided for terminal to terminal connections. Free shuttles transport to and from the terminals and the LAX City Bus Center, LAX Economy Parking, Metro C Line at Aviation Station, and LAX employee parking lots.

Airport Shuttle Bus

The cost of a one-way ticket is $9.75 USD (€8.70) and the journey shouldn't take longer than 35 minutes, in light traffic. There is a waiting time of up to 35 minutes for the FlyAway shuttle.

LAX FlyAway Bus

A $9.75 ticket will secure you a seat on a comfortable charter bus that leaves roughly every half hour from Union Station and Van Nuys and stops between each terminal at the airport.

You can tip your driver once your trip is complete. Tips are neither expected nor required. After a trip has ended, you have 30 days to add a tip in the app, on riders.uber.com, or from your emailed trip receipt.
